Dr. Asma Pathan is a Consultant Cancer physician, currently practicing at M | O | C Cancer Care and Research Centre in Kalyani Nagar, Pune. Dr. Pathan completed her MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, a Government institute affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. She further specialized with a DNB in Medical Oncology from Omega Hospital, Hyderabad.

With over 10 years of experience, Dr. Pathan has extensive expertise in treating a wide range of cancers, including those specific to women, such as breast, ovarian, and cervical cancers. She also specializes in treating lung, colon, prostate, and head & neck cancers. She is proficient in treating lymphomas and solid tumors. 

She is also affiliated with NeOn Neuro & Onco Clinic, Nobel Hospital Hadapsar, Inamdar Hospital, Ruby Hospital Wanori, Platinum Hospital, and Prime Hospital in Kondhwa, Pune.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Pathan has contributed to numerous national and international publications, including journals like SAGE. She is passionate about nurturing the next generation of oncologists. She mentors young researchers, guiding them through their research and thesis work, and is involved in various academic initiatives.

While Dr. Pathan was a member of Indrayani Charitable Hospital, she was involved in many cancer awareness initiatives, organizing cancer screening camps and field visits to educate the community at grass root level. To ensure her message reached a wider audience, she leveraged digital platforms such as social media and radio to spread vital cancer awareness in the modern age. She continues to remain committed to this cause.

She has been involved in several national and international clinical trials and is currently participating in many prospective trials sponsored by LAMDA, CBCC, JSS, and VEEDA.
