Dr. Reshma Puranik is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Haemato-oncologist who is presently spearheading M | O | C Cancer Care and Research Centre Kalyani Nagar and Swargate. She is presently associated with Dr. Puranik Cancer Clinic, Pune, Ruby Hall, Jehangir and Jupiter hospitals.

 
She did her MD Medicine from the prestigious B.J. Medical college and Sassoon General Hospital, Pune. She has done her DM in Medical &Pediatric Oncology and Haemato-oncology from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad.  She also possesses additional qualifications of Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in General Medicine and DNB in Medical Oncology. In DNB Oncology, she stood first in India and received President NBEMS Gold Medal. She is a Member of Royal College of Physicians, UK (MRCP, UK). She also holds the certification from European Society Certified Medical Oncologists (ECMO). She has also pursued post graduate diploma in Geriatric Medicine from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi (IGNOU). She is on editorial boards of IJMPO and South Asian Journal of Cancer.

She has presented various papers in regional and national conferences. She received Woman Warrior Award in 2022 for her exemplary work in the field of Medical Oncology.

She has a vast experience and inimitable proficiency in managing diverse cancers like Head & Neck, Lung, Breast, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, sarcomas and skin cancers. She has a penchant for treating malignancies in females like breast and cervix cancer and wishes to work on cancer awareness, early diagnosis and prevention of cancer in females. She also has an expertise in managing hematological malignancies like leukemias, lymphomas and multiple myeloma. She is specially inclined towards screening and preventive oncology.

Dr. Reshma Puranik has done social work in Melghat area and now actively involved in conducting various cancer awareness activities.

She is associated with NGO AAKAR to build awareness among young girls about menstrual health, sexual education and cervical cancer vaccination and awareness.  She is also associated with Mediqueen Mrs. Maharashtra Pageant for cancer related social activities. She is active in the medical fraternity in terms of delivering lectures on screening methods of various cancer and also methods of early detection.
